Shopping

From the clothing and shoe shops lining Calle de Fuencarral, which boast the latest in fashion trends, to the antique sellers along the winding narrow streets of the Rastro flea market, Madrid's shopping possibilities are limitless! Get your credit card and visit some of the well known shopping centres and the small speciality shops hidden in Madrid's back streets.

If you are looking for large department stores like El Corte Ingles and outlet stores like H&M, Gran Via and the Puerta de Sol area are definately hot spots for men's and women's clothing stores. If you are looking for something a little more smart and trendy, the area north of Retio Park in Calles Serrano, Goya, and Velazquez offer many botiques and fashion speciality stores.

Furthermore, large shopping malls (Centro Commerciales) are scattered all throughout the city including Europe's largest shopping mall "Xanadu" which even includes an indoor ski and snowboard park if you get too tired of shopping!
