If you prefer a gentler regime, you can use the swimming-pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, the beauty salon and sun-beds. If you decide to join Gimnasio Palestra, it is cheaper to go in the morning.

Príncipe Sports offers you a wide range of facilities like two aerobic studios, a body-building gym, four racquetball courts, three squash courts, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam bath. If you want to take a break, you can relax in style in the comfortable lounge that has daily newspapers, television and videos. There is also a sports medicine department, sports shop, cafe, beauty salon, hairdresser's, sun-beds and a parking area for members.

Holiday gym is a particularly large branch (3000m2) and has excellent facilities that include an open-air swimming-pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath and even ballroom dancing. The main sports hall is used for a variety of activities, such as aerobics, body-building, self-defence and martial arts. Holiday gym has five different establishments spread throughout Madrid and can be found at Plaza de la República Dominicana, Princesa, Condado de Treviño, and José Ortega y Gasset.
Monday to Friday: 7.15am-midnight
Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 10am-10pm

Abasota is a huge sport centre where you can enjoy just about every sport that exists to keep you fit and they have some of the best facilities available. Abasota has four racquetball courts, four squash courts, and an enormous multi-purpose arena for aerobics, yoga, keep-fit and posture classes amongst other activities. And if you want to relax you can use the Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna, heated swimming-pool and the beauty centre. The terrace of Abasota becomes a solarium in the summer and the café-restaurant has a good reputation for serving tasty food.

Friday, Sunday and holidays: 10am-10pm

Body Factory

Body Factory has several centres across Madrid. They offer many organized exercise activities like aerobics, back stretches, abdominal sessions and body pump. You can be sure that there is some class that will fit to your profile. 
Body Factory has a large fitness room, for the muscles and cardiovascular machines and there is also a sauna and a Turkish bath. The price depends on how often you want to come. There is a range of options like a daily pass, mornings-only, two or three days a week or weekends-only.
Monday to Friday: 8am-11:15pm
Saturday: 10am-10pm
Sundays and holidays : 10am-3pm and 5pm-9pm

Votre Ligne is a women-only gym in Madrid. They offer a variety of classes, like yoga, tae-bo and step aerobics. Votre Ligne has a beauty salon and if you want to relax after a busy day you can go to the swimming pool, Jacuzzi or get a sports massage. The monthly fee for unlimited use is about 54 euros and you can pay quarterly or annually. Another branch of Vorte Ligne is at Lagasca.

Metropolitano is spread over four floors with a huge gymnasium, material arts in kung-fu and kickboxing and a indoor swimming pool and even a climbing wall with training on offer. The swimming pool is used for swimming classes, competitions and scuba diving lessons. In Madrid, Metropolitano is one of the few gyms that has a boxing ring for classes and public fights. If you want to enjoy the club you can choose to pay monthly, quarterly or annually.

Saturday: 10am-3pm
Metropolitano is closed in August
